Verizon Prepaid uses the “Unlimited in network minutes with a daily charge” type of plan and Tracfone uses the Cost per minute plan.

How Verizon Prepaid Works

Verizon Prepaid has several options

Prepaid Basic which offers 25 cent minutes.

99 cents per day which allows you unlimited calling to other Verizon Wireless phones and then you will pay 10 cents a minute on all other calls. Every day that you use your phone you will pay the 99 cent fee. Texts are 10 cents to send and receive.

199 cents per day which allows you unlimited calling to other Verizon Wireless phones and then you will pay 5 cents a minute on all other calls. You also get Unlimited Nights and Weekend calling with the $1.99 plan. Every day that you use your phone you will pay the $1.99 fee. Texts are 5 cents to send and receive.

399 cents per day which allows you unlimited calling to other Verizon Wireless phones and then you will get Unlimited calling every day. Every day that you use your phone you will pay the $3.99 fee. Texts are 1 cent to send and receive. This is basically their Prepaid Unlimited Plan. $3.99 per day for Unlimited Calling to any phone in the United States.

Text Message Bundles

If you are on any of the Verizon Prepaid Plans you can get the Message Bundle Plans. For $20 per month you get Unlimited Messaging. For $10 per month you get unlimited texting to Verizon Wireless phones and 250 additional messages. If you go over the 250 you will pay 20 cents per message with the Basic plan, 10 cents with the 99 cent plan, 5 cents with the 199 plan, and 1 cent with the 399 Unlimited plan.

How Tracfone Works

Tracfone is a simple Cost Per Minute prepaid cell phone company.

You purchase the Tracfone phone and a Minute card.

Then you activate the phone by calling Tracfone on a land line or by going online.

You will have to type in some numbers into your phone and then it is active. It is really easy.

Next you will add a Tracfone Minute Card.

When adding a minute card if you use a five digit Bonus Code you might get more minutes. Check out the Tracfone Bonus Codes.

Basically you buy Tracfone minutes on a card and add them to your phone. You will get 90 days of service time on most Tracfone cards. You must keep minutes and service time on your phone to use it. The remaining number of minutes and the service end date will usually show on your display. vzprepaidvstrac

Be sure to check out what Tracfone DMFL is before you purchase your Tracfone. Here is a great article on Tracfone DMFL. I would only add minutes to a Tracfone that had DMFL on it.

Tracfone Service Time and Minutes Roll Over

If you add minutes or service time before your phone has completely run out the remaining minutes or service time will roll over.

Get $3 off on any Tracfone or accessory $19.99 or more with coupon code 23444.

Will my Tracfone work in Europe with a European Sim Card?

No Tracfone GSM phones (the ones that have a SIM card under the battery) have special Tracfone software in them. They will not work with any other SIM cards and they cannot be unlocked without eliminating and reflashing all the software in the phone.

Tracfone and Net10 LG 200c and Samsung R451c

Verizon Prepaid Text and Picture Messaging

Basic Plan text messages are 20 cents each.

Core Plan, text messages are 10 cents each.

Plus Plan, text messages are 5 cents each.

Unlimited Plan, text messages are just 1 cent each.

For the best deals on Verizon Wireless phones Click here.

Verizon Prepaid now offers different Text bundles. How do the different Prepaid Verizon Text Bundles work?

There a not a lot of Annual Mobile phone plans. Many would be too expensive to pay for the whole year upfront. Who has the Best Annual Mobile Phone Plan?

There are often Net10 special phones that come with a phone card as well as coming with the $30 minute Activation Bonus. When you are on the Net10 website and you see a phone that comes with a phone card it means that you get the phone and 300 minutes AND the 300 minutes on the phone card also.

This is spin-nt10body5-10.

How to get the Best Deal on a Net10 Phone

I normally recommend buying your Net10 Phone online. You will almost always have the best choice of phones. I always check for Net10 Purchase Discount codes. Usually the discount codes will save you three to ten dollars on your Net10 phone purchase. Walmart, Target and many convenience stores usually have the phones in stock but they normally only have the low end models.

Can I Transfer my Number to a Net10 Prepaid Phone?

Yes, as long as your phone number is still active you can change it to a Net10 Wireless phone. If your number has been deactivated for a while and has been reassigned by your previous cell provider you will not be able to transfer your number.

How Net10 Wireless Works

The Prepaid model that Net10 uses is the Cost per Minute structure. You purchase minutes and at the same time you will get a service period to use those minutes. .

You will start by buying a Phone and a Net10 Minute Card. You can only use a Net10 Phone for Net10 prepaid service, you cannot use a Verizon, At&t, T-Mobile, Alltel, Net10 or any other phone with Net10 Service. The Net10 SIM card will not work in any other phone either.

Activating your Net10 Wireless Phone

You will Activate the phone by calling Net10 on a land line or by using the web.

To activate your phone you will key in a series of numbers. It is really simple and if you hit the wrong key it is easy to redo it. For the system to activate your phone can take 10 minute to a couple of hours.

Next you will add a Net10 Minute Card. You will key in the 15 digit PIN code into your phone.

When adding a minute card if you use a five digit Bonus Code you might get more minutes. Check out the Net10 Bonus Codes.

Net10 Service Time

Most Net10 cards will put 30 service days onto your phone for each $15 you spend along with ten minutes per dollar spent. You must have both minutes and service time on your phone to use it. The remaining Net10 minutes always show on the display of your phone. The Service end date will also scroll onto your screen. It normally says “Add Airtime by 12/21/10 or service ends.” hwnet10wrks

Buying Net10 Phone Cards

For the Best Deal and phone Selection go toNet10.com

When you buy from the Net10 website put in this code as you are making a phone purchase to save a little extra money.

Motorola W385 and Samsung R451c

Net10 Service Time and Minutes Roll Over

Activation time and your Minute Balance will both be added to your current balance when you add a new card. Let’s say you have 60 days and 20 units left on your phone. Add a 300 minute 60 day card and you will end up with 120 days(60 60) and 320 minutes (20 300).

Go to Net10.com for the best selection of Phones and Phone Specials

Here is a great article on How Net10 Works?

There are a lot of mistakes people make when using a Tracfone. Here is a great list of the Most Expensive Tracfone Mistakes.

Most Cell phone contracts start at $40 a month for a very basic plan. Here is a great tip on how to get the Best $16.66 per Month Cell Phone

Who has the Best Pre-paid Annual Mobile phone Plan. There are rival plans from Tracfone wireless, T-Mobile, Net 10, Verizon Wireless Prepaid, and Straight Talk.

Tracfone Wireless Yearly Cellular phone Plan

Tracfone has two yearly plans. They sell a $100 one year minute card that you get 400 units (800 with DMFL). This card always has bonus codes available that will usually get you an extra 200 to 400 units. Check here for the latest Tracfone Bonus Coupon Codes. 800 units with this minute card gives you 12.5 cent minutes and less than $9 a month service.

Also available from Tracfone.com is a $200 yearly plan. This card gives you 1500 units (3000 with DMFL) and a year of service. With DMFL these units are 6.6 cents each and your monthly cost is under $17 a month.

With either of these plans if you run out of units before the year is up you’ll be able to add more units by just purchasing another mobile card. Get $3 off on any mobile or accessory $19.99 or more with coupon code 23444

Tracfone Motorola Razr V3 and Samsung R451c

The Best Prepaid Annual Cell Yearly Cell Plan

In my opinion the Best Prepaid Yearly Cell phone Yearly Cell Plan is the the Tracfone $200 3,000 minute (with DMFL) plan. This is only available from Tracfone.com. This plan gets you the best per minute price for prepaid cell phone plans at 6.6 cents a minute.

The $100 per year Tracfone prepay plan is a pretty good deal also but the minutes are more expensive at 12.5 cents a minute.

Net10 yearly minutes are ten cents each and your yearly charge will be $200.

The T-Mobile Yearly Plan is simple. You buy the $100 unit card and your service will stay active for up to 12 months as long as you do not run out of units. The units will cost 10 cents. If you add smaller than $100 refill cards you will pay up to 33 cents a minute. You only get the ten cent per minute rate if you buy $100 at a time.

The Best Prepaid Yearly Cell Plan from Tracfone gives you a lot of flexibility. If you do not use all of your units they will roll over if you keep your service active. If you have a lot of units left over you can buy $20 phone cards that will give you three months of service. If you run out of minutes you can always add minute cards and pay between 6.6 cents and 17 cents a minute with DMFL.

With Net10 you will pay $30 to get a phone card which will give you 300 minutes and two months of prepaid phone service. However from the Net10 website you will be able to buy phones for as little as $20. All Net10 phones from Net10.com come with 300 minutes and sixty days of service. This is the same service you get from a $30 Net10 phone card. Any Net10 phone you purchase that is $30 or less is a Free Prepaid Cell Phone.

Where is the Best Place to purchase a Net10 phone?

I usually recommend getting your Net10 Phone online. You will almost always have the best selection of phones. Often the discount codes will save you three to ten dollars on your Net10 phone purchase. Another option is Target and Safeway usually have the phones in stock but they normally only have the less expensive models.

Do my Net10 Minutes Roll-Over?

Yes, your minutes will rollover as long as you keep your phone active. You must keep minutes and activation time on your Net10 wireless phone to keep it active. If you run completely out of either units or Service time your phone is not active.

How Net10 Wireless Works

The Prepaid model that Net10 uses is the Cost per Minute structure. You purchase minutes and at the same time you will get a service period to use those minutes. Net10 is owned by Tracfone and operates almost the same way with different rates and better phones.

First you will purchase a Net10 and a Net10 Card. You can only use a Net10 Cell phone for Net10 service, you cannot use a Verizon, At&t, T-Mobile, Alltel, Net10 or any other phone with Net10 Service. The Net10 SIM card will not work in any other phone either.

Adding a Net10 Minute card is even easier. You can add Net10 minutes directly from the phone or from the Net10 website. You will key in the 15 digit PIN code into your phone.

I have gotten a lot of extra minutes on my Net10s by using Bonus Codes. Net10 Bonus codes are a five digit number that will increase the number of minutes you get when you are adding a card to your Net10 phone or buying a new phone.. Check out the Net10 Bonus Codes.

T-Mobile Prepay Yearly Cell phone Yearly Plan

The T-mob plan has two options. The “Pay by the Day” plan and the “Pay as you Go” plan.

The Pay by the day plan costs you $1 per day and ten cents a minute. With this plan you get unlimited night calling (7 pm to 7 am) and unlimited calling to T-Mobile cellular phone numbers.

The T-Mobile “Pay as you Go” plan charges different minute rates depending on how much you spend. The larger denomination cards give you more minutes per dollar spent. If you add a $10 unit card you will pay 33 cents a minute. With the $25 card you will pay 19.5 cents a minute. With the $50 unit card you pay 12.5 cents a minute. If you buy a $100 unit card you will get 10 cent minutes.

T-Mobile Pre-paid Yearly Mobile phone Service time

Any time you add a $10, $25 or $50 minute card you will get 90 days of service time. Once you have added $100 to your T-Mobile prepaid annual cell plan you will have one year to use your units.

T-Mobile Prepaid Annual Mobile Strategy

The best strategy to use with T-mobile is to add $100 to your plan when you start it. Then add $100 cards when you are low on units. The $50 unit card is not a bad deal after you have added $100. The $10 and $25 cards should never be added because your cost per minute is so high. T-Mob used to have the Best Prepay Annual Mobile Yearly Cell Plan but Tracfone wireless and Net10 prepaid wireless now have less expensive options.

The Best Pay as you go Yearly Mobile Yearly Cell Plan

In my opinion the Best Prepay Annual Cell Yearly Cell Plan is the the Tracfone prepaid $200 3,000 minute (with DMFL) plan. This is only offered from Tracfone.com. This plan gets you the best per minute price for prepaid cell phone plans at 6.6 cents a minute.

The $100 per year Tracfone prepaid plan is a pretty good deal also but the minutes are more expensive at 12.5 cents a minute.

Net10 prepaid wireless yearly minutes are ten cents each and your yearly charge will be $200.

The T-Mobile Yearly Plan is simple. You buy the $100 unit card and your service will stay active for up to 12 months as long as you do not run out of minutes.

If you have a lot of minutes left over you can buy $20 phone cards that will give you three months of service. If you run out of minutes you can always add minute cards and pay between 6.6 cents and 17 cents a minute with DMFL.
