Verizon Wireless operates one of the biggest and most reliable cellular networks in the nation. Verizon Wireless also offers pay as you go Wireless services. Here is the Logo that we all connect with “Can you Hear Me Now”

Verizon offers four Prepaid Wireless plans
The Verizon Prepaid Basic Plan with 25 cents per minute and no daily access fee. This plan is not a good value when you compare to other prepaid plans. Net10.com for 10 cents a minute or Tracfone.com from 6.6 cents up to 33 cents a minute are much better alternatives.
The Core Plan is 99 cents per day access and calls are 10 cents per minute. Unlimited calls to Verizon Wireless mobile phones are free. I used the Verizon Wireless Core plan for nearly a year, if your main phone calls tend to be to other Verizon Wireless users this is often a good deal.
The Verizon Plus Plan is $1.99 per day access and charges 5 cents per minute. This plan also includes Unlimited night and weekend minutes (starting at 9 p.m.) and Unlimited calls to other Verizon Wireless phones all day.
The Verizon Prepaid Unlimited Talk Plan offers Unlimited minutes and one-cent text messages for $3.99 per day.

Verizon Prepaid Per Day Fees
The Per Day fees are only charged on the days the phone is used.
The Per Day fees are from Midnight to Midnight local time. If you haven’t used your Verizon cell phone for a full day and then you make a call to another Verizon phone at 11:55 pm and the call lasts until 12:05 (ten minutes later) you will be charged $1 for each day or $2.
If you only make one call in a day it will cost you $1 plus airtime. If you mainly make calls to non Verizon Wireless phones you will spend your minutes quickly.
Verizon has over 80 million subscribers so the Basic plan with Unlimited Verizon to Verizon calling for 99 Cents a day gives you a lot of phones you can contact.
Activation Costs for Verizon Prepaid.
There is up to a $25 activation fee when you start your Prepaid Verizon Wireless cellular phone. I initialized mine at a Verizon store and purchased a $30 card all at once. The Verizon Customer Service Agent who activated it for me did not charge me the fee. I did spend $79.95 on the cell phone.
Verizon Pay as you go Customer Service
Customer Service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via email, a toll free number and from your Verizon prepaid cell phone without incurring airtime charges. I have used the Verizon Customer service and it is very good. I have used Tracfone and Net10 and Straight Talk customer serviceand it is totally different. Verizon CS educates the Representative to help you, Tracfone, Net10, Straight Talk use Customer service to read the directions from their computer.
I have gone to a Verizon Wireless store for support and also called 611 from my Prepaid phone. The Customer Support people were very good. The phone support was located in Arizona not the Philipines.
Free Calls to Customer Support.
With Tracfone, Net10 and Straight Talk your calls to customer support it will cost you minutes. Call Verizon at 611 and it is free.
Conversion to Contract Service
Your Verizon Pay as you go cell phone can be converted to a Contract phone if you have used it for six months or more as a prepaid phone. You will not have to sign a contract to add this to a contract. I was able to add one to a Verizon contract for $10 a month without signing a one year or two year contract. This worked well for me, a Long Term Contract rate and I did not sign a long term contract.
Keeping your Prepaid Verizon Phone Active
It will cost you a minimum of $10 a month or $100 per year on your phone to maintain Verizon Prepaid service.
Verizon Account Expiration
If your account balance goes to Zero or if your Service time runs out your account will expire.
Using your Prepaid Phone as a Pager
Caller ID can act like a pager when your account balance is low on Money. The caller ID will show who is calling and if you are almost out of money on your Wireless phone you can use a land line and call your friend back.

Your Verizon Prepaid Sevice Time will not Stack Up!
When you add money to your Verizon Prepaid account you will extend the expiration date of your account. a $15 to $29.99 payment will extend your service to 30 days. $30 to 74.99 will extend to 90 days. A $100 payment or more will extend your service to 365 days.
How it Operates
When you have 20 days remaining on your activation time and you add $15 you will end up with 30 days of service after the addition. When you have 40 days of service left and you add a$15 payment you will still only have 40 days of service left. Verizon does not add your remaining service to what you just purchased, you get the larger of either your remaining service time or the newly added service time.
Existing Balance Carry Forward
If you add to your account before your service time expires then your balance will carry forward. Your service time will not carry forward unless you have more service time left than you get with your purchase. For instance if you have 50 days of service left and you add $15 with 30 days to your service you will end up with an extra $15 on your balance but only 50 days of service, not 50 days plus 30 days.
No Credit Checks with Verizon Prepaid.
That pretty much says it all. You will not have an End of Service charge if you permit your Prepaid Service to end. You will lose any money remaining on your account, your phone number, and there will usually be a $25 reactivation fee.
No contract to sign with Verizon Prepaid.
